This is a guidance note to provide a practical tool to strengthening the inclusion and access of children and adults with disabilities in UNICEF WASH interventions. The guidance note should be adapted to the goals and objectives of a particular WASH intervention, and used alongside other UNICEF programme planning, monitoring, and evaluation and reporting technical and guidance notes. The guidance note is intended for UNICEF professionals working on WASH policy, programmes and projects at national and sub-national levels, and also useful for government and sector partners working to advance disability inclusion and accessibility in the provision of WASH services.
