In this this 90-minute course, you will considers the various challenges and components linked to the management of human resources in humanitarian contexts. Some of the objectives offered in this course are- to explain the importance of the HR Function in humanitarian emergency responses and the elements of a basic HR strategy, organizational structure and the scope of responsibility of HR in a response; to describe the recruitment in emergency standards by using tools and practices given in this training; to identify some HR tools available to manage humanitarian personnel and to design basic engagement and recognition initiatives for teams. This course is mostly designed for humanitarian aid workers willing to gain an understanding of HR management in emergencies.
