By the reporting period 7,762 children including 3,211 girls
and 800 new displaced children from Khyber Agency are enrolled
in the 21 IDP camps schools and TLCs in host community
across KP and FATA.
Campaign is currently undertaking in IDP camps and return
areas in KP/FATA and Sindh to improve school attendance and
enrolment rate.
158,586 beneficiaries (63,419 girls/females) have accessed
education services through provision of Temporary Learning
Centers and school supplies in Sindh and Balochistan.
70,321 children including 31,237 girls who used to study in
1,517 TLCs supported by UNICEF have been enrolled to government
schools after returning to their villages as part of
mainstreaming TLCs into government education system.
A total number of 21,781 children have benefitted from renovation
of 266 partially damaged schools in Badin, Shaheed
Benazirabad, Tharparkar and Sanghar districts of Sindh province.
