This document can also be found on the Official website of Age Platform Europe at https://www.age-platform.eu.
This paper from AGE Platform Europe is a living document presenting the reflections of its members and external experts on how the measures taken by governments during the COVID-19 pandemic affect the human rights of older persons. It highlights key issues faced in particular by older persons, in terms of access to health and social care, discrimination and social exclusion. AGE's reflection addresses the specific challenges faced by older people in residential settings, those who live alone and older persons who receive care at home. The document refers both to alarming and good practices and measures but does not adequately cover the diversity of the older population.
