He expressed his gratitude to the benefactors of Qatar for their generous donations that support the health sector in the state. The minister emphasized the center's importance for the residents of the area, noting that expanding health services for the benefit of all the sections of society, especially women, children, and the elderly, was one of the ministry's main priorities. He indicated that Qatar Charity has contributed to supporting the ministry's developmental priorities by laying the foundation stone for this center in the area.Mr. Abdul Razzaq Hersi, Director General of the Ministry, said that the establishment of this center in Garowe is considered a qualitative leap in the state's health sector. The 300-square-meter center is expected to provide more than 6,000 people from the city and surrounding villages. The center will have a doctor's room, inpatient and outpatient clinics, a laboratory, a pharmacy, a waiting room, a medicine store, three toilets, and a courtyard. It is worth noting that the health center, which is under construction in Puntland, is an extension of Qatar Charity's previous efforts in building and running health centers in Somalia.
