Initial Needs Assessments and Reports of February 2023 Earthquake in Türkiye and Syria

Following the disaster that hit Türkiye and Syria, immediate priority needs to include safe and stable shelter, support for pregnant women, hygiene items, medicine and medical care, and psychosocial support. Children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities are identified as the most affected groups. There is a lack of coordination and gaps in provision of health services, mainly related to lack of medicine and medical supplies, as well as psychosocial support. This collection collates different needs assessments and reports that describe the situation in Türkiye and Syria and provide humanitarians with updated, local, and international information.
