In the Sahel countries of West Africa, 'Woodless Construction' refers to the construction of vault or dome roofed buildings using ordinary mud bricks. This three volume series of brochures describes the history, technical details, training, and case studies for woodless construction. Two case studies are examined in detail, the training of trainers in Filingué, Niger and adaptation of training and techniques in Mopti, Mali.
